Sure, sure, the crazy cat lady is still around... Between bouts of reality-cringing and house-elfing, that is.

After a few more trips to the vet, and their consultations with some geneticists offworld, I managed to get full genetics for some of the ferals, who had since really, really not been feral while roosting in my attic.

I mean, there's only so many times you can find a cat on your lap and call them 'feral', right? Born in the wild, maybe.

So without further adeiu I hooked up those genes to a database and pinned them to my ever-increasing bulletin board of 'stuff I have to keep track of'.
